Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent practical experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA).
- 7 years of experience in accounting or a related function, or 5 years with an advanced degree in accounting, business, or finance.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in sheets or spreadsheet technology.
- Experience as a business recognition professional with agreement review experience in the technology industry.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, including US GAAP.

- Ensure accurate business recognition by conducting reviews of cloud commit agreements, aligning with ASC 606 standards.
- Evaluate customer agreements and document technical business assessment (e.g., relative standalone selling price analysis) and influence agreement structures during negotiations to optimize financial terms and support agreements.
- Collaborate with Cloud Technical Accounting to analyze non-standard agreement terms and optimize business outcomes.
- Identify and leverage technology to automate and innovate internal processes, support the development and implementation of a guided agreement review tool, develop and maintain knowledge of Google products, and create solutions to enable accounting for new product launches and business opportunities.
- Participate in cross-team initiatives towards process improvements and efficiencies by incorporating business partner and team feedback and industry best practices.
