Purpose of the role

Role: D&T Analyst - Finance

Location: Mumbai, Hybrid eligible

The Digital and Technology team of General Mills India Centre is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to contribute to the Global Financial Planning and Analytics Product Team in capacity of D&T Analyst I - Finance.

This role will report into Manager - Finance (Enterprise Functions) in India and functionally collaborate with global Enterprise Functions Team. It is an Individual contributor role.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

. Apply knowledge of financial planning and reporting to collaborate with finance business stakeholders in providing solution recommendations, and planning business needs and priorities.

. Work closely with finance and IT stakeholders on a wide range of topics that require SAP BPC Embedded financial expertise, including business requirements analysis, issue resolution, root-cause analysis, business process optimization, integration topics, cross-functional projects, end-user training, translating requirements into technical solutions, and providing cost-benefit analysis and estimates.

. Drive delivery and support of planning and analysis solutions and enhancements in the areas of Financial Planning & Analysis and Supply Chain Finance leveraging multiple technologies SAP BPC Embedded, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BW, AMDP, & AFO Reporting.

. Lead business requirement sessions to accomplish team goals and serve as the day-to-day contact for the team on clarification of requirements through build and deployments.

. Play a technical lead role on large deliverables including converting business requirements into technical work and providing work direction to various technical team members.

. Prepare technical specifications, proactively facilitate knowledge transfer and user adoption of new and existing solutions.

. Participate on a rotating support schedule.

Must have technical skills and experience:

. 3+ years of relevant experience in a data or business analyst position

. Proficiency in one or more of the solutions following: SAP BPC Embedded, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BW, AMDP development.

. Effective verbal and written communication and influencing skills at the tactical level.

. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

. Can do, positive attitude and commitment to a team delivery approach.

Good to have skills:
  • Experience working in an Agile methodology environment.

. Tableau end-user experience (nice to have)
  • Hands-on SAP FI and COPA configuration experience
  • Cloud Platform use for Data and Analytics.


Skil l proficiency experience:

. Familiarity with ADO and Agile-Scrum.

. Comfortable presenting to senior leaders
  • Effectively manage vendor relationships
  • Expertise across the FP&A domain.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education - Full time graduation from an accredited university (Mandatory- Note: This is the minimum education criteria which cannot be altered)
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent relevant discipline


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • SAP Certification in SAP Finance
  • CA/Masters in Finance/BSC and MSC Information systems from Tier 1 institute.
  • Understanding of CPG industry


Skills: Sap Fi, Sap Bw, Amdp, Copa, cloud platform , Tableau

Experience: 3.00-5.00 Years
