Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling Prepare Tax Return for Individual and Partnership, Monthly closing of the Financial Books Accordingly Tax return, prepare consolidating financials and managing monthly and quarterly closings as per the Tax Return. And a strong focus all type of Return (Monthly, Quarterly and Annually) and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities


  • Prepare tax provisions schedules, returns, payments, and reports and maintain a company's tax database.
  • Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for partnerships and corporations.
  • Find tax solutions to complicated tax issues or errors from incorrect tax filings
  • Advise management about the impact of tax liabilities and corporate strategies or new tax laws
  • Coordinate outsourced tax preparation work
  • Create the adjustment entries as per the Tax Return
  • Accurately prepare quarterly and annual tax reports
  • Compare the Tax Return Data with QB
  • Coordinate with CPA and provide the Data related to Return.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports using QB (Online) & AppFolio (Investment), ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Maintain investor information through AppFolio.

Qualifications

  • Qualified CPA with Experience in US Taxation
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Tax Accountant, preferably in the Real estate industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, specifically QuickBooks, AppFolio
  • Strong understanding of US Taxation, Return Filing (Individual as well as Partnership Firm)
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Work Environment

  • This is a remote position based in India.
  • The candidate must be willing to work in Eastern Standard Time (EST) to align with our USA-based client.
