Job Purpose
To support the FP&A function in comprehensive & timely reporting.
Key Role: Support in updating Budget/Projection Templates, Monthly Schedules, reconciling & updating Budgets in SAP, and other MIS/ database requirements.
Furthermore, support in reconciling and accounting of PGP Fee & other ad-hoc accounting/reporting requirements at Mohali
Job Outline
Responsibilities include:
Preparation of monthly Management reports and schedules and providing insights and summaries to assist decision-making and planning processes.
Large Data collection, data hygiene/ clean-up, mapping, and presentation in the form of excel templates/schedules and ppt.
Scrutinizing Actual Financial data for General Ledger (GL), Cost Centre (CC) & Fund usage, spot any irregularities and make necessary corrections.
Supporting Annual Budgeting process & quarterly projections as well as reporting on KPI's (including updating Budget templates)
Updating budgets in SAP, monitoring variances, and addressing queries related to budgets.
Accounting of Revenue including activities such as verification of receipts, reconciliation, and posting of transactions/invoices
Assisting with Ad hoc accounting and reporting needs of the Mohali Finance department as they arise ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to evolving financial demands.
Partnering & Collaborating with Finance & other stakeholders daily, fostering effective communication.
Identifying opportunities for process improvements & automation to increase the efficiency & effectiveness in reporting and analysis.
Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through presentations and written reports.
Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices in reporting and analysis.
Job Specification
Qualification - Minimum: B.Com/ BBA
Skills - Desirable: CA/CMA Inter/ MBA Finance, Interpersonal Skills, Good communication skills, Basic accounting knowledge, Advanced Excel Skills, Attention to Detail, Time Management, MS Office
Experience - Minimum: 1 year experience in Finance/Accounts
