Job Description

ROLE PURPOSE:

Using data analysis, business modeling, and research, Commercial analysts determine customer needs and develop ideas on how an organization can meet them. Their work makes organizations adaptable and agile in a marketplace where those attributes are increasingly important

Accountabilities

• Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards
• Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools ex. Automation of rebate management and other automation/business projects
• Market visits, market research, data mining, business intelligence
• Gathering information about problems to be solved or procedures to be improved
• Customer account creation including documents validation, validation of the Master Data Management template and raising request, Virtual Account creation of New customer & Circulation
• Customer account management like block order review and release, credit limit management, Dunning process
• Customer master data management including periodical review
• Working Capital performance review and reporting
• Finding root causes for problems and proposing solutions that many include new systems, procedures, or personnel changes
• Presenting findings to decision makers, conferring with managers to ensure changes work
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting & supporting the month end process
  
  

Qualifications

Key skills:

• 4-6 years of experience preferbly in commercial finance Role
• Written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills
• Business case development, handling of medium to large scale projects
• Excellent experience with accounting software like SAP
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, experience of working with large amounts of data
• Strong analytical and presentational skills
• Negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Degree in Accounting or Finance MBA, ICA, CMA. Preferably ICA
