The Assistant Manager Finance will be responsible for managing and monitoring financial operations, assisting with budget preparation, analyzing financial data, preparing financial reports, and providing support to senior management with financial decision-making.

Role & responsibilities
- In-depth knowledge of Accounting Principles, Taxation, Costing, and Financial Reporting.
- Prepare Financial Statements/ Reports for internal and external reporting.
- Maintain General Ledger accounts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Lead the monthly books closure process.
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting activities.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and return filing requirements.
- Assist in tax planning and optimization.
- Correspond with Income Tax and GST Authorities.
- Implement and manage Cost Accounting procedures.
- Analyze cost variances and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Coordinate and liaise with internal and external auditors.
- Facilitate the audit process, addressing queries and providing necessary documentation.
- Ensure timely closure of audit findings.

Qualifications
- CA/ CMA with 2 to 3 years or CA Inter/ CMA Inter with 8 to 10 years manufacturing experience.
- Financial analysis and reporting skills.
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
