Job Role :

Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Payroll Processing Specialist to join our NPV & Associates a CA firm having Payroll processing vertical. The Payroll Processing Specialist will be responsible for accurately processing payroll for our Clients, ensuring compliance with Client policies and legal requirements. This role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in payroll software, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

Processing the Payroll:

Accurately process payroll for all the Clients on a timely basis, including calculating salaries, overtime, deductions, and bonuses. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax requirements. Review timesheets and attendance records to verify hours worked and resolve any discrepancies.

Data Management:

Maintain accurate Client employee records in the payroll system, including personal information, tax withholding status, and banking details. Update payroll records for new hires, terminations, promotions, and other status changes. Conduct regular audits of payroll data to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies.

Reporting and Analysis:

Generate payroll reports as needed by Clients and regulatory purposes. Assist in reconciling payroll accounts and preparing financial reports related to payroll. Analyse payroll data and create MIS to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.

Compliance and Documentation:

Stay informed about changes in payroll laws, regulations, and best practices. Ensure compliance with Client's policies and procedures, as well as relevant labor laws and regulations. Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to payroll processing, including employee records, tax filings, and audit trails.

Customer Service:

Respond to Client's employee inquiries and requests related to payroll, taxes, and benefits in a timely and professional manner. Provide support and guidance to Client regarding payroll processes, policies, and procedures.
