  • To ensure proper financial reporting of the Company on a timely basis with proper analysis.
  • To ensure compliance with all IRDAI reporting on time accurately with quality.
  • To prepare and manage subsidiary company accounts by ensuring complete understanding and meeting timelines for the Board and other requirements by regulatory authorities.
  • To manage parent/promoter company requirements by coordinating with them and ensuring proper closure.

    What does the job entail
    • Timely and accurate reporting of financials for the Company including the reporting of SEBI LODR Disclosures requirements.
    • Preparation and overall management of subsidiary company accounts including analysis and review, coordination with auditors, closing Board requirements on time, explanation to management, etc.
    • Preparation and analysis of consolidated accounts and notes to accounts.
    • Timely and accurate submission of all IRDAI reports on a monthly/quarterly/half-yearly and annual basis.
    • Contribute to preparation of notes to accounts on a standalone and consolidated basis ensuring requirements of regulations and accounting standards are met.
    • Preparation of reporting requirements as required by promoter/parent including support in the preparation of Ind AS FFC/US GAAP/Schedule Sch V requirement for parent company.
    • Contribute to preparation of year-end and quarterly requirements including MD&A preparation, support in producing annual reports, related party disclosures, etc.
    • Identifying automation requirements and coordination for closure with IT and other stakeholders.
    • Analysis of the performance of competitors and identifying the best industry practices.
      Education:
      • CA
        Work experience:
        • CA with 10-12 years of experience in financial reporting.
        • Financial report preparation and analysis.
        • IRDAI accounting and reporting regulations - importantly finance finance-related.
        • Hands-on experience in MS Office.
        • Accounting standards knowledge.
