- To ensure proper financial reporting of the Company on a timely basis with proper analysis.
- To ensure compliance with all IRDAI reporting on time accurately with quality.
- To prepare and manage subsidiary company accounts by ensuring complete understanding and meeting timelines for the Board and other requirements by regulatory authorities.
- To manage parent/promoter company requirements by coordinating with them and ensuring proper closure.
What does the job entail- Timely and accurate reporting of financials for the Company including the reporting of SEBI LODR Disclosures requirements.
- Preparation and overall management of subsidiary company accounts including analysis and review, coordination with auditors, closing Board requirements on time, explanation to management, etc.
- Preparation and analysis of consolidated accounts and notes to accounts.
- Timely and accurate submission of all IRDAI reports on a monthly/quarterly/half-yearly and annual basis.
- Contribute to preparation of notes to accounts on a standalone and consolidated basis ensuring requirements of regulations and accounting standards are met.
- Preparation of reporting requirements as required by promoter/parent including support in the preparation of Ind AS FFC/US GAAP/Schedule Sch V requirement for parent company.
- Contribute to preparation of year-end and quarterly requirements including MD&A preparation, support in producing annual reports, related party disclosures, etc.
- Identifying automation requirements and coordination for closure with IT and other stakeholders.
- Analysis of the performance of competitors and identifying the best industry practices.
Education:- CA
Work experience:- CA with 10-12 years of experience in financial reporting.
- Financial report preparation and analysis.
- IRDAI accounting and reporting regulations - importantly finance finance-related.
- Hands-on experience in MS Office.
- Accounting standards knowledge.
