We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial Controller to join our fast-paced finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial health of our organization. This includes managing and monitoring all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the financial future of our company, providing strategic financial input to senior management while exploring all aspects of financial management ranging from simple accounting to broad investment and banking operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all company accounts and investments.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to influence strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare high-quality business strategy recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis.
  • Develop and manage financial systems/models and oversee the company's financial systems.
  • Ensure compliance with the law and company's policies.
  • Manage and prepare all financial reports, including Profit and Loss Statement, Balance Sheet and Statement of Cash Flows, as well as the year-end financial reports.
  • Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation.
  • Develop budgets that meet the requirements of company departments.
  • Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
  • Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.
  • Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.


Job Details

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Professional ACCA/CPA qualification would be considered an advantage.
  • 3+ years of proven experience in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices.
  • Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. ERP).
  • An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting.
  • Proven skills in financial and accounting procedure, including budgeting, financial forecasting, and financial statement analysis.
  • Experience in creating financial strategies that meet company goals.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Proficient in GAAP.
