We are in search of a seasoned and strategic-minded Permanent VP of Finance to join our dynamic team. You will have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in the financial management of our organization. This includes the planning, implementation, managing and running of all the finance activities of the company, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting and negotiations. As the VP of Finance, you will be an integral part of the executive team, reporting directly to the CEO, and collaborating with other senior leaders to drive growth and help improve our business's financial performance.
Will pay for relocation to Maryland.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute the company's financial strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives.
2. Lead financial planning and budgeting processes, providing strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the executive management team.
3. Supervise all finance personnel (controllers, treasurers, etc.) and manage the finance department's day-to-day operations.
4. Oversee, review, and adhere to the budgets for each business department.
5. Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis.
6. Analyze the financial climate and market trends to assist senior executives in creating strategic plans for the future.
7. Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.
8. Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
9. Develop and implement plans for cost-reduction, tax strategies, and profit enhancement.
10. Evaluate and manage risk, perform due diligence, and engage in mergers and acquisitions as needed.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g. CFA/CPA) is strongly preferred.
2. Proven experience of 5+ years in a financial leadership role, preferably as a VP of Finance or similar role, within the finance industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
4. Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
5. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP).
6. An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
7. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
8. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
9. A result-driven leader with exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
10. High ethical standards and professionalism, with a commitment to confidentiality.
