We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-driven Plant Controller (MRO) to join our team in the luxury transportation industry. This role is integral to our business operations and will be responsible for overseeing financial and accounting activities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing cost accounting, inventory reconciliation, financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting, and business planning. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all cost accounting and inventory reconciliation activities for the plant.
2. Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to identify trends, assess performance, and formulate strategic recommendations.
3. Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accurate and timely projections.
4. Develop and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and business implications.
5. Drive business planning efforts, aligning financial strategies with operational objectives.
6. Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
8. Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
9. Provide financial guidance and support to the plant management team.
10. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a controller role in the manufacturing or engineering industry.
3. Proficient in cost accounting, inventory reconciliation, financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting, and business planning.
4. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
5. Exceptional analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.
6. Proficient in financial software and MS Office Suite.
7. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
8. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
9. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
