The Controller will be responsible for managing our Accounting team and overseeing all day-to-day operations, while also contributing to strategic financial initiatives of the org.

The Controller should have strong hands-on knowledge of month-end closing, financial reporting, and GAAP accounting, as well as budgeting, variance analysis, and financial forecasting.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger accounting
• Manage the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Work with Senior Leadership to establish and improve processes for budget/variance analysis, financial forecasting, and strategic finance
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Monitor cash flow and manage working capital to ensure the company's financial stability
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial analysis and support for business decisions
• Manage the company's relationship with external auditors and tax advisors
• Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• MBA or CPA is preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting requirements
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make sound business decisions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing best practices
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines
