We are actively seeking an experienced and dynamic Accounting Manager to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative engineering environment. The Accounting Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing our financial operations, including inventory management, intercompany transactions, and consolidation processes. Responsibilities:

As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for:

1. Overseeing and managing the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
2. Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances.
3. Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, including monthly and end-year processes, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis.
4. Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting principles and company procedures.
5. Managing and tracking the performance of invested assets in keeping with policies and investment strategy.
6. Reviewing intercompany transactions and ledgers, ensuring all transactions comply with company policies and are accurately recorded.
7. Overseeing inventory management, ensuring accurate inventory counts and valuation.
8. Coordinating and completing annual audits, liaising with internal and external auditors.
9. Developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
10. Providing strategic guidance around capital financing options to support company growth needs.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or related certification is highly preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial accounting role, preferably within the engineering industry.
