Yearly Compensation $100,000 - $120,000 plus benefits

Job Summary:

In this role, the Controller will prepare financial statements, record journal entries, maintain account reconciliation schedules, supervise staff Accountants, and update/maintain policies and procedures.

Essential Functions of the Controller:

• Prepares and distributes monthly/quarterly/yearly financial statements.
• Develops annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Prepares auditing schedules and implements needed changes.
• Supervises and develops/mentors accounting staff.
• Supervises the monthly financial closing process by entering journal entries, reconciling various general ledger accounts, and providing account analysis
• Contributes to the decision-making process at all levels of the company.
• Maintains a strong internal control environment with an emphasis on standardizing business transactions and separation of duties.

Experience Preferred- Controller:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required, CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a distribution environment.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office software and have advanced MS Excel skills
