Position : Finance Manager II
Location : Manapakkam, Chennai, IND-TN
Job Purpose *:
Overall, a Finance Manager in India plays a critical role in driving financial performance, supporting strategic decision-making to achieve business objectives. They must possess strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and leadership abilities to effectively fulfill their responsibilities.

Essential Functions *:
- Analyzing financial performance, identifying trends, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborating with senior management to develop financial strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives and growth plans.
- Leading and managing a team of finance professionals responsible for various functions such as accounting, financial analysis, and financial reporting.
- Lead the team in defining and documenting financial process, staff responsibilities, and recruiting and onboarding new resources.
- Providing guidance, mentorship, and training to enhance the skills and capabilities of the finance team.
- Serve as a point of contact for finance-related inquiries and requests.
- Identify talent gaps and succession planning needs within the team.
Education:
A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field.
Certifications, Accreditations, Licenses:
- CMA, MBA or related experience
Experience:
- 5 to 7 year experience in relevant finance and accounting roles.
- Prior supervisory experience leading a team of finance or accounting resources.
Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Finance and Accounting knowledge
- Team management
- Attention to detail
- Proficient in Excel.
- MS Dynamics (Great Plains) and OneStream experience is a plus
Supervisory Responsibility *:
This position has one or more employee direct reports.
Work Environment *:
Mainly India Office in Chennai
