Job Title: Financial Controller
Job Location: Dallas, TX (100% on-site)
Salary: $150k-$175k base salary + 10% Bonus + 401k with up to 3% Match + Comprehensive 100% Employer-paid Health Benefits
Must have:
  • Currently, working in an Accounting leadership role managing other Accountants
  • 3+ yrs of Oil & Gas industry experience
  • Revenue accounting experience
  • CPA

Preferred:
  • Quickbooks

Job Details

Primary responsibility for a department of four revenue accountants.

  • Prepare annual Financial Statements using a modified completed contract method of accounting.
  • Prepare weekly cash flow summaries for the owner.
  • Assist with the accounting and financial issues of approximately 10 other company-owned related entities.
  • Provide accounting guidance for the revenue processing function and well working interest calculations.
  • Oversee outsourced payroll for approximately 50-60 employees in two locations.
  • Oversee accounts payable function for the company and other owner related entities.
  • Supervise expense reporting and American Express accounting.
  • Oversee and manage corporate and health insurance needs.
  • Assist with the possible Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP) transition.

Must have:
  • Currently, working in an Accounting leadership role managing other Accountants
  • 3+ yrs of Oil & Gas industry experience
  • Revenue accounting experience
  • CPA
