Our company is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to fill the role of Assistant Controller. This position offers an incredible opportunity to work with a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the Controller with overseeing the company's financial and accounting operations. This includes managing accounts payable and receivable, as well as participating in strategic data analysis, financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. The Assistant Controller will report directly to the Financial Controller and will have the opportunity to make significant contributions to the financial health and growth of our company.


  • Oversee daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable and receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, and utilities.
  • Ensure accuracy and effectiveness in all accounting tasks.
  • Prepare and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and lead the annual audit process.
  • Participate in strategic data analysis, budgeting, financial forecasting, and workforce planning.
  • Work closely with the Financial Controller to ensure financial compliance and transparency.
  • Assist in the management of the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve financial procedures and ensure financial integrity.


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  • CPA required
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting
  • Proven experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience creating reports and presentations.
  • High level of proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet programs.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and guide a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
