Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA).
- 10 years of experience in accounting or a related function, or 8 years with with an advanced degree in accounting, business, or finance.
- 8 years of experience in an accounting practice or public multinational high-tech companies.
- Experience with process improvements.
- Experience with ASC 606/IFRS 15 and application of business accounting standards in an enterprise software/tech industry setting.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
- Experience with SQL.
- Knowledge of accounting principles.
- Ability to work on a varied and diverse workload, while ensuring accuracy, timeliness and a high degree of attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous process improvement.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets.

- Partner with key business stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and global Cloud Controllership team to identify and align on industry, product, and business related trends that pose potential financial, operational to Google.
- Perform review of agreements during the discussion stage and provide accounting guidance in accordance with ASC 606/IFRS 15. Assist agreement teams in structuring agreement terms that meet business needs, and minimize any impact to financial reporting and finance operations processes.
- Complete accounting assessment of executed contacts in accordance with ASC 606/IFRS 15, documenting non-standard terms with accounting impact, and calculating any adjustments needed.
- Perform monthly and quarterly reporting on Cloud business agreements, as part of financial close procedures. Partner with Finance, Pricing, Accounting Operations, and other business groups to drive process improvements in the area of Cloud agreement review.
