Job Overview

We seek a finance professional with extensive knowledge of tax compliances, Capex Management and Costing. This role will be responsible for ensuring all direct and indirect tax compliances for the site and managing the entire Capex cycle.

Site Finance Team, Operations, SCM, Program Management, Corporate Finance, Corporate Taxation teams, Operational Excellence, Shared service functions

Post qualification experience â Min 3-5 years with manufacturing Industry experience in similar profile

Key Roles/Responsibilities

  • Maintain fixed asset register for the business including calculation and posting of monthly depreciation, details of additions/ deletions, etc in compliance with Companies act and the accounting policy followed by the company
  • Collaborate with site stakeholders to monitor capex proposals, report their regular progress against approved costs, timelines, payback, etc.
  • Ensure adherence to companyâs policies on capitalization of fixed assets and physical verification
  • Support Corporate Taxation team with all GST compliances including periodic returns, filings, audits, etc. for the site
  • Support Global Business Shared Services with TDS/ TCS compliances including filing of monthly challans, quarterly returns, etc.
  • Ensure that records are maintained to be audit ready at all the times.
  • Maintain compliance register and regularly update compliance tool
  • Reconciliation of ITC register and availment of GST credit
  • Maintain product wise raw material costs
  • Conduct variance analysis against Bills of Materials (BoMs)
  • Ensure timely updation of BoMs
  • Handle Cost Audit
  • Collaborate with operations team to identify reasons for variances and play an active role in cost control initiatives.
  • Monitoring and Accounting of Export Incentives
  • Drive IT initiatives and improvements in existing ERP tool
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure timely delivery of the monthly MIS and reporting.
  • Support implementation of SAP S/4HANA
  • Actively support periodical internal, tax and statutory audits by preparing schedules and effective closure of audit queries.
