As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant General Manager of Finance to join our leadership team. This role will play a crucial part in steering our financial strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining the overall financial health of the company.

Role & responsibilities
  • Act as a strategic business partner to the leadership team, providing financial insights and guidance to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Oversee all aspects of financial operations, including Cost Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Financial Reporting, Auditing & Internal Control, and Taxation.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial transactions, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and maintain internal control mechanisms to track and safeguard the financial health of the company.
  • Extend support to both Internal and Statutory Audits, facilitating the preparation of financial statements and ensuring successful audit outcomes.
  • Review and analyze Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Accounts, ensuring the integrity of all reported financial statements.
  • Provide timely and accurate financial reports to support management decision-making.
  • Stay abreast of relevant tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with all tax obligations.
  • Work closely with external tax advisors to optimize tax strategies and minimize financial risks.

Preferred candidate profile
  • Master' degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. CA qualification is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in a senior financial management role. Must have experience with the real estate or proptech industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and taxation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
