Position Title: Senior Finance Strategist/ Senior Associate Business Operations L2

Operating Window: 12:00 PM to 08:30 PM IST for L2

Key Duties And Responsibilities


  • Performing AR Function related activities - that includes transactional, reporting & reconciliations for various AR subsets on the assigned agency's books.
  • Performing month end close activities including (but not limited to)-journal entry posting/ adjustments.
  • Reconciliation & reporting of SL-GL system and other related General Ledger related tasks for various GL Accounts in scope.
  • Use self-judgment to prepare & propose adjustments that can potentially impact Company's financial statements.
  • Deep understanding of fundamental accounting rules (accruals, deferrals, prepayments, depreciation etc) to interpret and determine applicable upstream & downstream accounting impact & traceability.
  • Responsible for establishing & ensuring timeliness of overall month end close activities and accuracy of the close process is achieved.
  • Manage & monitor various balance sheet schedules with their substantiation impacts on P&L.
  • Revalidate various subledgers (mainly AR) over & above to its core SL team for accounting accuracy on broader General Ledger perspectives.
  • Manage & perform management reporting & FPNA related tasks for financials related to assigned agencies.
  • Analyze and review financials on process level to ensure a consistency on accounting numbers.
  • Management of key stakeholders, process governance & mentoring the junior staff to ensure collective success.

Key Attributes

  • Preferably a commerce graduate (B.Com) &/or MBA- Finance/ ICWA/ CA with 7-9 years of Finance -AR/ OTC experience with incremental hands-on in GL, Management Reporting/ FPNA functions with revenue orientation.
  • Prior experience with roles focused to finance & accounts core functions in Shared Services/ Corporate Finance/ Consulting Environment with strong focus on process improvements.
  • Expert level knowledge in MS Excel & its advance functions with well versed knowledge in Finance & Accounts Fundamentals & P/L basics.
  • Working knowledge with widely practiced ERPs (SAP, Oracle etc.) & planning tools (Hyperion, SmartView, Anaplan etc).
