Responsibilities


  • Plan the accounting process in the project and keep track of all financial matters.
  • Constantly reviewing business dynamics from taxation & other regulators perspective
  • Guiding finance counterpart on various policy & decision making, Tax Planning
  • To Finalize Project Accounting Methodology
  • Strategic projects like valuation, mergers, structuring, FDI, NBFC, RBI matters from taxation, compliances etc
  • FInalization/Consolidation of Accounts
  • Various MIS and Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Constantly reviewing business dynamics from taxation & other regulators perspective
  • Guiding finance counterpart on various policy & decision making
  • Keep abreast of latest trends and developments in F & A, Taxation and also related to Real Estate Industry
  • Coordination with Business functions on operational issues
  • Financial modelling for projects, budgets, capital budgeting, valuation and structuring
  • To ensure account finalization, represent BU in statutory audits and address audit observations promptly, oversee periodic review of G/L (or triggered by FP&A) to ensure accounting integrity
  • Interface with Corporate Tax team to ensure adherence to promised SLAs for DT & IDT compliance for own BU
  • Ensure integrity and control and continuous improvement across F&A processes: ensure processes are executed in line with new operating model and support adoption of improvements in accounting and reporting system and process
  • Ensure proper lending documents, monitoring the covenants and ensure that the covenants are met.
  • MIS/analysis of projects/business.
  • Plan Annual reports, Taxation Impact and optimisation.
  • Plan transaction considering compliances and ensure necessary supporting
  • Consolidation of Accounts in line with accounting compliance
  • Overall co-ordination for consolidation
  • To handle Statutory and Internal Audit
  • To ensure that all accounting entries are passed in the system for various entities under Adani Realty Umbrella through SAP.
  • To assist in closure of books and finalization of periodic financial statements
  • Look for cost optimisation in areas inventory management, contract accounting & overheads controlling.

Qualifications

Master degree ( Finance/ law or Accounting) /CPA/ACA/ACCA certified with 5 + Years of experience, Realty Sector/Construction Sector or Advisory consulting firms.
