Responsibilities

Associate Lead - Financial Reporting is responsibility for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance. He or She ensures that all processes in place have a high standard of internal controls and governance. He or she enthusiastically participates in all discussion to its work area and work as a good team member. He or she proactively supports the peer team members. He or she is responsible for Month end closure, GL review and finalization of financial statements of various entities of data center vertical, both at standalone and consolidation level. He or she shall work on multiple projects / task simultaneously, under aggressive deadlines, while maintaining high standards of internal control, governance and without compromising on compliances.

Financial Reporting and Analysis

Good Command Over The Applicable Indian Accounting Standard, IFRS And Have Exposure Of Preparation And Finalization Of Financial Statements. Provide Recommendations And Feedback For Process Improvement And Ensure Good Hygiene Of Books And High Level Of Governance. The Person Would Be Responsible For:

  • Preparation/review of financial statements for data center companies under Indian GAAP.
  • Preparation of GAAP Reconciliation with USGAAP and IFRS on quarterly basis.
  • Monthly closure of accounts and circulation of month pack to JV Partner.
  • Participate in analysis of new accounting matters/critical accounting matters and work closely with Lead FR.
  • Co-ordinate with Auditors (Statutory- Big 6 firm) for quarterly closure and year end closure.
  • Preparation of board and audit committee decks as required.
  • Other tasks assigned from time to time by group

Tax Compliances and Governance

Ensure 100% compliance with relevant tax laws, regulations, and filing deadlines. Monitoring and ensuring Implementation of SOPs and DOA. Advise TC team on tax-related matters, including tax planning opportunities and risks. Provide guidance on tax issues, such as, withholding taxes and GST on cross border transactions. Tax exposure is critical & desirable.

System Developments:

Design, develop, and implement SAP solutions to meet the organization's financial and accounting requirements, timely SAP migration of various new as well acquired companies.

Structuring And Acquisition:

Acquisition of new companies. Perform due diligence activities to gather necessary financial information and documentation. Identify exceptional transactions / positions which attract future litigations / outflow and highlight this to Lead FR.

Qualifications

Chartered Accountant (Mandatory)

Overall, 3-4 years of experience in financial reporting, Auditing and working with renowned organizations, Have a depth knowledge of accounting policies and internal processes. Knowledge of integrated ERP system (SAP), Power BI are preferable and desirable. He or she has experience of working or dealing with Big 6 audit firms
