As a Financial controller in ourFinanceteam you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm

Your primary focus is to ensure accuracy, integrity and timeliness of the firm's books and records with an emphasis on general ledger, operating systems, and infrastructure controls across the entire lifecycle of the business.

Job Responsibilities :
  • Prepare and post General Ledger entries, including Compensation & Employee Benefits, Monthly Accruals/Prepaid, Invoice Allocations, and other manual journal entries.
  • Conduct Daily Bank reconciliations and Monthly Balance sheet reviews.
  • Analyze source data and prepare sub ledgers.
  • Perform Daily/Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Reporting and Variance analysis, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Reconcile Balance sheet and Profit & Loss accounts.
  • Provide support to Service Recipient and participate in projects, interacting with key stakeholders.
  • Book manual accounting entries during month-end close process.
  • Ensure accuracy and validity of general ledger accounts, adherence to GLRS standards, and implementation of efficiency opportunities.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • CA/CFA/MBA Finance/master's or bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Minimum 4 years of related experience with financial reporting, General Ledger and month end close responsibilities.
  • Comfortable liaising with business and risk managers and able to critically challenge with the goal of identifying control issues.
  • Able to build and maintain partnerships within the various product aligned businesses and across other corporate financial, treasury, and accounting groups.
  • Able to understand business drivers and requirements and influence middle and front office partners to deliver solutions to business issues and problem
  • Excellent desktop/spreadsheet/database skills. Being able to use MS Excel swiftly.
  • Soft Skills - Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • SAP General Ledger hands on experience
  • Practical / working Experience in the Core Accounting profile
  • Strong analytical skills - Ability to quickly understand workings of a complex processing system and general ledger systems across the infrastructure and their interrelationships and dependencies.
  • Being able to multi-task in a constantly changing environment.
