Key Responsibilities:


  • Financial Reporting and Analysis:


    • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

    • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

    • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making.




  • Cost Accounting:


    • Oversee cost accounting functions, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.

    • Ensure accurate and timely recording of manufacturing costs, including labor, materials, and overhead.

    • Conduct periodic reviews of cost structures and recommend cost-saving initiatives.




  • Budgeting and Forecasting:


    • Lead the annual budgeting process for the manufacturing division.

    • Develop and maintain financial forecasts, including cash flow projections and capital expenditure plans.

    • Monitor actual performance against budget and provide variance analysis.




  • Internal Controls and Compliance:


    • Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

    • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws.

    • Coordinate and support internal and external audits.




  • Team Leadership and Development:


    • Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals.

    • Provide training and guidance on accounting principles, systems, and procedures.

    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.




  • Process Improvement:


    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function.

    • Leverage technology and automation to streamline accounting processes.

    • Collaborate with other departments to support cross-functional initiatives and improve overall business performance.




  • Qualifications:


    • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.

    • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in a manufacturing preferred

    • Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices.

    • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.

    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

    • High attention to detail and accuracy.

    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
