Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, Finance and Accounting!

This role will work closely with senior leaders across the business to establish a leadership development strategy and deliver 'outstanding' learning experiences for leaders globally.

  • Lead and manage day to day operations delivery, drive governance & change management with client in collaboration with all enabling teams - Transitions, Transformation, People
  • Ensure period end close activities are performed according to agreed close schedules and that accounting policies are in compliance with GAAP and stated company norms
  • Lead new transition and work on all project deliverables as per defined tollgates
  • Work closely with other Accounts Departments to understand business transactions and ensure they are processed and accounted for appropriately and accurately
  • Ensure process governance including reporting and analysis to key stakeholders - communicate on a regular basis to discuss operational issues, key metrics, CTQ's (internally &/or externally)
  • Review and analyses the team's output for appropriate accounting treatment, completeness and accuracy related to general accounting, Reporting, Narratives
  • Guide team to prepare quality Narratives and other reporting schedules
  • Understand the SOX Regulations and ensure adherence by the teams at all times
  • Act as point of escalation to resolve accounting and reporting related issues in a timely manner and ensure all queries are dealt with correctly and efficiently
  • Evaluate and recommend enhancements to systems or other processes to maximize the use of information system resources to develop comprehensive reporting models
  • Provide day to day management of the cross functional team in assigning and monitoring deliverables, and motivating and leading the teams to enhance performance and work product
  • Develop the team through effective performance management and monthly appraisals

Minimum Qualifications / Skills
  • Accounting qualification- CA/ CPA/ CMA preferred
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of accounting principles, systems, and procedures
  • Experience in ERP & Legacy systems
  • Prior experience with healthcare industry would be preferred
  • Prior experience in transition would be preferred
  • Experience of handling RTR Tools (e.g., Blackline, HFM/ HFC, workflow, etc.)
  • Exposure to digital tools in RTR / F&A domain
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills
  • Expert capability in generating meaningful insights from large and disparate data sources
  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas and analytics concepts
  • Experience using Business Intelligence tools such as (PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik)
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Impeccable client management skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to handle team and client discussions.
  • Prior exposure to complex work environment
  • Good People Management skills
  • Open to work across shift as per the business requirement
  • Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
  • Ability to lead and build teams and build multiple internal partners.
  • Ability to build client partnership and work in cross functional teams, especially with relationship and sales team.
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment.
  • Quality - Lean and six sigma knowledge and quality driven person
  • Must demonstrate a high level of self-motivation, energy, and flexibility.
  • Ability to handle multifaceted volumes of workloads and to reach targets and deadlines on a timely basis.
  • Innovative and always looking for continuous improvement in order to develop succession plans for staff.
