In this role, you will:
  • Support all financial process and reporting including month end, actuals, budget, forecast of various types of financial metrics/scenarios/views, including general ledger, program, project, taxonomy, product, application allocations and business case financials for the Consumer Technology business
  • Create management business review decks for senior management that clearly articulates the financial story/strategy to the Finance, Technology and Business stakeholders
  • Liaise with stakeholders across technology, finance and business to understand the rationale behind the technology expense allocations to business
  • Specific focus on allocation methodologies for technology indirect expenses
  • Analyze metrics that quantify the value technology generates for products and services across Wells Fargo
  • Provide analysis on drivers for labor, non-labor and infrastructure expenses
  • Provide transparency and actionable insights on technology spend based on consumption
  • Create reports to show technology allocations to businesses with ability to parse out expense cuts
  • Ability to identify and leverage best practices across technology allocations reports and analytics
  • Ability to learn reporting tools including Power BI & Alteryx and identify potential opportunities for automation or process improvements
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to senior management on a regular basis
  • Identify opportunities for expense management and optimization
  • Adhere to internal compliance policies and other business reporting requirements
  • Special projects and ad-hoc analysis as required.

Required Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:
  • MBA (or) Cost & Management Accountant (or) Chartered Financial Analyst (or) Chartered Accountant with more than 10 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Candidate should have strong FP&A expertise and has experience in working with senior leaders providing strategic solutions.
  • Candidate must have hands on experience in LOB / segment / product reporting / management reporting / dashboard / presentations / Analytics / commentary.
  • Candidate should have good hands on experience on handling end to end aspects of project financials / reporting / forecasting / analysis and plan support.
  • Candidate should have good exposure to handling work flow applications, be good with BO and or BI Tools and or similar applications. Good expertise in Data Lineage, data flow / architecture and data quality.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Power BI or similar data visualization tools for dashboard creation and reporting
  • Ability to work both independently and within team environment. Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to perform complex analyses, build financial models, draw conclusions, and communicate recommendations to business leaders.
  • Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with critical deadlines.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Macros, Business Intelligence tools and Power point.

Job Expectations:
  • This Individual contributor role will serve as finance lead for the Technology Finance Allocation in India. The key priorities for this role will be to provide strategic solutions to stakeholders through strong business acumen displaying executive presence, provide meaningful insights to the management team on all aspects of financials, to facilitate better deep dives and effective management decisions. Employee will be responsible in ensuring that all of the Forecasting, Planning and management reporting activities to Tech Allocations is undertaken in an effective manner. The incumbent should have strong communication, a good functional understanding and have the ability to provide effective presentation to the senior leaders.

  • Candidate should have good financial acumen and come out with good strategic/ go forward data /analytic support and support the business teams.
  • Capable of conducting in-depth research of large data (financial & non-financial) using various tools and providing insightful solutions to stakeholders.
  • Interact / coordinate with different teams to proactively raise any specific issues or challenges around the business and work independently with the concerned teams to resolve issues.
  • Candidate should ensure faster turnaround time on query handling and ad-hocs if any, with good understanding of change management and its likely impacts and consequences. Provide detailed analysis, trend analysis and high-level recommendations. Should proactively call out for issues / challenges and come out with solutions.
  • Candidate should be good with financial modelling, understand process changes and be good with research and query handling.
  • Ability to perform complex analyses, build financial models, draw conclusions, and communicate recommendations to business leaders.
