We are looking for a GM Finance & Accounts for a leading hospitality group.
Job Profile:Responsibilities include Business Partnering with the Resort Operations team at Corporate, Regions and Resorts and includes heading the controlling, accounting, receivables, payables, and MIS consolidation function for the resorts.Financial Performance of the resorts as budgeted would be the key deliverable in the role and would include Capex Planning and Execution, and expansion of resort and room capacities.Role includes overall liaison building with the owners of leased properties and owners of managed contract properties with periodic reconciliations and settlements.Works closely with the Resorts’ operations team and corporate finance team.Establish a strong and stable team at the resorts to carry out the controlling, accounting and MIS function at the resorts, and a strong corporate team to control the overall business and consolidate results for reviewSupport the Statutory and Internal Audit teams at the resort and corporate relating to the Resorts BusinessSet operating plans and budgets for the resorts business, with a view to align the same with the overall company’s goalsSet up efficient R2R process, thru controlling the receivables at resorts and adherence to company credit policy for guest & corporate bookings at the resorts and ensure effective controls and minimise risks. Automation of processes and deployment of Digital process would be encouragedProject planning and execution of expansion requirements of the company, especially in the resorts vertical. Expansion could include expansion of rooms in current resorts, or greenfield projects, modification of existing rooms in our resorts. This would involve Capex Budgeting, ROI and other KPI’s.Support the destinations & sourcing team in contracting new resort properties, with estimates, returns, ROI and other deliverables.Play an active Project Lead Role in implementing the new PMS solution for resorts and new ERP at the company level.Work closely with the HR teams, Purchase, Tax and other cross functional members at corporate and carry out their objectives at the resorts.Develop analytical tools to be used to assess cost saving opportunities within various spend categories taking into account product costs and service costs.Development of staff (training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution)
Requirements:10+ years of Finance & Accounting experience preferably in hospitalityCA with commercial acumenStrong Analytical Skills - MIS, Consolidation, Reports.Working knowledge of GSTMust have experience in an ERP based environmentBudgeting, Forecasting, Analysing using various Models & KPI’sAudits Internal and StatutoryConducting periodic reviews with presentations
