Role Overview:The Finance Assistant Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the finance department's operations. This position requires a proactive individual with strong financial knowledge, analytical skills, and leadership capabilities to assist in managing financial processes and contributing to the company's financial success.Responsibilities:
  • Financial Analysis:
    • Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend identification, and performance metrics tracking.
    • Assist in preparing reports and presentations for senior management.
    2.Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Support the budgeting process by gathering data, preparing budget proposals, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
    • Assist in financial forecasting and provide insights for decision-making
    3.Financial Reporting:
    • Aid in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with regulations.
    • Assist in coordinating audits and ensuring adherence to auditing standards.
    4.Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process enhancements within the finance department.
    • Assist in implementing improvements to streamline financial operations.
    5.Team Support and Leadership:
    • Collaborate with finance team members to achieve departmental goals.
    • Provide guidance and support to junior staff, fostering their professional development.
    6.Ad Hoc Projects:
    • Contribute to special projects such as financial system upgrades or process restructuring.

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; Master’s degree or CPA preferred.
    • X years of experience in finance or accounting, with exposure to financial analysis and reporting.
    • Sound knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
    • Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and MS Office suite.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
