Role and Responsibilities:We are currently seeking a Mainframe CA-Datacom_CBS Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating the existing CADatacom application environment. Your primary tasks will include collaborate with business stakeholders, application owners, and data modelers to gather requirements and understand the data structures and business rules specific to the applications being converted. You will design and develop conversion strategies, data migration plans, and scripts to convert CADatacom databases and applications to DB2, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and performance. Additionally, you will implement and execute the conversion process, perform data mapping, data validation, and testing, optimize and tune the converted DB2 applications and databases, and collaborate with other development teams, database administrators, and system architects to ensure integration and compatibility with other systems and applications. Creating documentation, including technical specifications, conversion procedures, and user guides, will also be part of your responsibilities.
Candidate Qualifications:The ideal candidate for this role should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. You should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Mainframe CA-Datacom_CBS analysis and conversion. Strong knowledge of CADatacom databases, DB2, and ETL processes is required.
