We re hiring a Controller to be based out of our Clearwater, FL office. In this role you will have a blend of tactical cost accounting and more strategic financial analysis and planning. You will lead month/year closing activities, manage budgets, as well as support long-term and short-term planning. Additional responsibilities include the forecasting and analysis of key expense areas, forecasting and analysis of sales across multiple product lines, and decision support for growth initiatives. Our ideal candidate brings:
  • Strong experience in cost accounting and financial analysis along with budget management and forecasting
  • Proven ability to work in a short close period
  • Bachelor s degree in accounting, finance or closely related field of study
  • Advanced Excel experience (LOOKUPs, Pivot Table, Charts) required
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to gather and organize data to drive important decision-making discussions, including reporting, and presenting findings after analyzing information.

High Level Focus Areas
  • Key player in the month-end close process; analyzing variances, accruals, journal entries in accordance with GAAP
  • Manage budget creation and actual-to-budget reporting and analysis
  • Perform cost and operating variance analyses to identify root causes in variances and partner with other managers to identify areas for improvement
  • Manage cash flow forecasting
  • Work with FP&A projects
  • Manage credit approvals
  • Analyze cost trends to identify variances and determine estimates for accruals.
  • Identify and implement business process improvement opportunities.
  • Liaise with internal auditors for annual financial audits.
  • Ad hoc and special projects as needed.
