As a Senior Manager in Finance, one should strongly demonstrate excellent financial and accounting capabilities apart from strategic financial competencies and organizational financial strategy. Maintain policies within the company and have a deep understanding of financial regulations and legislations in line with the business and oversee all aspects of the. companys finances including budgeting, accounting and auditing. As a second in command, the role will mainly include day to day assistance to the Functional head in effectively managing the function by keeping close track of the financial status and performance of the company to identify areas for potential improvement to ensure better profitability for the organization. Expected Responsibilities: To analyze financial data, trends to identify potential risks / opportunities for improvement. Managing budgets and develop financial plans to meet organizational goals. Provide timely guidance to the team on accounting issues. Closely liaison with respective stakeholders for joint activities and other interdependencies and ensure timely completion. Preparing reports on financial performance to identify areas of improvement or concern and make recommendations to functional head and management. Manage and oversee the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations. (TDS and GST) Liaison with external auditors and ensure the organization is compliant with accounting standards. Expected Skills: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, or related field. CA / Inter CA or PG in finance will be a plus. Prior work experience in broking and specifically broking finance is a must.
