Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Financial Control: Financial Controlling of capex intensive facilities projects and other high priority projects.
  • Analysis and Management Reporting: Preparing and reviewing financial reports as per Bosch Internal Reporting Standards, tracking of assigned projects, flagging potential cost overruns, and detailed management reporting of all assigned projects. Preparing detailed variance analysis with contextual commentary on the movement of project for the consumption of leadership.
  • Project Controls, contracts, and commercials: Review and verify project related transactions such as, purchase requisitions, invoices, POs etc. Manage construction subcontractors and other suppliers to maintain project, delivery timeline, and quality. Track, evaluate and work to mitigate contract penalties such as performance guarantees and liquidated damages for delays. Manage tax and other financial and contractual compliance related issues related to projects.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Undertaking exhaustive budgeting exercise, and monthly update of actuals to keep costs in line with budgets.

  • Desired Skills and Experience
    • CA / ACWA preferred with minimum 15+ years of experience in a progressive financial control role with at least 5-6 years of core experience in financial control of projects and high priority initiatives, and project accounting methods.
    • Strong understanding of IFRS, IndAS, GACAPs, GST, and Contracts
    • Proficiency in SAP, Excel, and analytics software.
    • Proficient in management reporting, project schedule management, and project analytics.
    • Advanced understanding of commercial contract terms and conditions, project risk management requirements in the areas of securities, guarantees, liquidated damages, penalties, Escrow, taxes, compliances, insurance etc.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proactive and resourceful with a strong work ethic.
    • Solid understanding and experience with stakeholder management.
    • Adaptable to working in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
    • Strive for continuous improvement and optimization.
    • Flexibility in resolving issues and addressing changing priorities.
    • Open to travel 20-30%
