What you'll do

Job Title: General Manager - Finance Business Partner

To provide Finance leadership in _VOIS Technology - India location in all aspects related to Business Planning, Reporting and Decision Support ensuring that business decision are aimed to maximize value creation.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning
  • Lead planning process so as lead to develop stretch financial plans in a Service Sector Organization
  • Drive and support the achievement of business plans and forecasts
  • Lead and manage the analysts to produce robust forecasts for traditional and commercial models that achieves the overall business objectives

Reporting & Analysis
  • Consolidation - Work cross site with controllers dedicated to Enterprise vertical, manage consolidation and present performance as a single _VOIS vertical
  • Deliver incisive and timely reporting of financial and operational results to the vertical, providing explanations and analysis that trigger corrective action
  • Interpret results and identify trends proactively, highlighting issues, working in partnership with the vertical to plan appropriate actions to mitigate impact against the risk
  • Drive business and commercial effectiveness through the vertical cost base / revenue

Business Partnering & Business Cases Review
  • Experience in managing Stakeholders and Business Partners
  • Develop the credibility with management so as to be able to challenge the business to achieve
  • Review and approve business cases in Data Repositories, provide rate cards and review the same with various teams Business Partner
  • Provide insightful, timely and value-added input so that the India Tech_VOIS management teams see Finance as key contributor
  • Work across locations and if needed functionality to ensure that plans are integrated

Management Information
  • Adept in using Reporting Tools to support monthly performance review and runs the business unit
  • Ensure timely delivery of insightful management information to the business unit in order to support effective decision making
  • Monitor variances against Budget/Forecasts and propose corrective actions with the support of the business unit and heads with a special emphasis on cost efficiency plans
  • Ensure the monitoring of targets

Key performance indicators
  • Timely & consistent delivery of challenging, but realistic financial plans to the FP&A teams
  • Execution of financial plans and delivery of financial results embedded:

o Service Operations costs

o Service Delivery costs

o Revenue recovered

o Recharges

o Value (Cost Arbitrage, Productivity, Knowledge Arbitrage)
  • Recurring performance review with Tech VOIS and timely execution of corrective actions
  • Delivery of regular & ad-hoc reports (such as risk exposure, what if modelling, etc)

Scope: Actuals/ Budgets/ Quarterly Forecasts
  • Finance Business Partnering
  • _VOIS India Technology Opex/ Capex
  • _VOIS India Technology Revenue
  • _VOIS India Technology HC
  • _VOIS India Technology Value

Who you are
  • CA or MBA-Finance qualified with 12-14+yrs experience gained in large, multi-national organization(s);
  • Knowledge of Shared Commercial Shared Operations is additional plus though not mandatory;
  • Excellent Communications and Analytical Skills
  • Finance and Accounting Knowledge with respect to Shared Services
  • Business Partnering and Team Management Experience
  • Good knowledge of Tools (Technical Acumen) - MS Office, PowerBI, SAP etc.
