About the Role:

AR Accountant is responsible for eCommerce Reconciliations and AR Close activities. You are versatile, motivated, creative, intellectually curious, a strong communicator and collaborator, analytical, and a leader.

What You Will Do in This Role:
  • Maintain and Analyze Day to Day reporting of eCommerce Partners with respect to the recent merger
  • Develop and Test new reporting with respect to the reconciliation of eCommerce accounts for recent merger activity
  • Maintain and Analyze Day to Day reporting of eCommerce Partners in respect of historical relationships
  • Reconcile between Partner Reporting, Bank receipts and GL entries for Revenue and Cost of Goods Sold (Fees) for eCommerce
  • Prepare Accruals and Actuals for Fees and Chargebacks relating to eCommerce Activities
  • Prepare weekly validations of eCommerce reporting
  • Prepare month-end validations of eCommerce reporting (Internal reporting and Partner reporting)
  • Collaborate with IT colleagues on eCommerce issues and variances
  • Prepare variance analysis and Balance Sheet Flux analysis
  • Participate in weekly and ad-hoc calls on eCommerce activities and issues
  • Participate in AR Close Activities including AR Subledger Close
  • Prepare month-end journals for assigned AR areas
  • Reconciliation of AR Balance Sheet Accounts
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations per currency and eCommerce partner
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations for other AR accounts assigned
  • Prepare samples and address follow-ups in response to Audit Requests (SOX, Management and Statutory)

What You'll Need to be Successful in this Role:
  • BS in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA is desirable
  • Minimum 3-5 years of global corporate accounting experience is required
  • Month-end close experience
  • Ability to analyze and interpret large data sets and generate variance analysis
  • Speak and write English fluently
  • Outstanding oral communication, analytical and written skills
  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and work collaboratively
  • Attention to detail, organized and thorough with the desire for continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated experience in driving process improvement
  • Ability to work independently and a strong team player
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Flexibility to work per shift requirements in busy multinational environment
  • Working knowledge of Oracle R12 is desirable
