We are seeking an experienced CFO to join our dynamic team. We are looking for an experienced CFO to lead transformation and strategy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in transformation, a solid understanding of financial management principles, and the ability to strategize from both a financial and business growth perspective. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced financial leader to contribute to our company's financial strategy and direction.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax and audit functions.
  • Direct financial strategy, planning and forecasts; conferring with the CEO, COO and the Board of Directors.
  • Study long-range economic trends and project their impact on future growth in sales and market share.
  • Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies and plans for the company.
  • Oversee the investment of funds and manage associated risks, supervise cash management activities, execute capital-raising strategies to support the firm's expansion.
  • Oversee the company's transaction processing systems and design and coordinate a wide variety of accounting and statistical data and reports.
  • Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions and minimizing the impact of variances.
  • Report financial status by developing forecasts, reporting results, analyzing variances and developing improvements.
  • Coordinate the preparation of annual reports, financial statements, and other reports to shareholders, regulatory agencies, and tax departments.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business. CPA, CMA or other related qualification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a CFO role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Proven experience in transformation within the construction industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting a strategic vision into an operational model.
  • An effective communicator at all levels in the organization, with strong oral, written and persuasive skills.
  • Strong commitment to developing team members.
  • Deep knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
  • Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
  • Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
  • Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
  • Ability to delegate work effectively.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and experience with contracts and leases.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and latest financial software.
