Job Details


  • Cost Analysis: Analyze manufacturing costs, including materials, labor, and overhead, to identify variances and discrepancies. Utilize cost accounting methods to accurately allocate expenses and determine product costs.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts by providing insights into expected manufacturing costs and identifying potential cost-saving opportunities.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and valuation, reconcile inventory accounts, and conduct periodic physical inventory counts. Analyze inventory turnover and recommend adjustments to optimize inventory levels and reduce carrying costs.
  • Product Costing: Calculate standard costs for new and existing products, including raw materials, labor, and overhead. Evaluate product profitability and provide insights into pricing decisions.
  • Variance Analysis: Investigate and explain variances between actual and standard costs, highlighting areas of concern and recommending corrective actions to management.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline manufacturing processes, improve cost efficiency, and enhance profitability. Implement cost control measures and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate cost reports, variance analyses, and ad-hoc financial analyses for management review. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Cost Accountant in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of cost accounting principles and techniques.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
