Finance Director

Position Title: Finance Director - Driving Financial Excellence and Strategic Growth

Location: Gray Court, SC

Pay: $90-130K + (Bonus Structure)

Role Overview: As a pivotal member of our leadership team, the Finance Director will play a crucial role in shaping the financial trajectory and strategic direction of our organization. Reporting directly to the President and collaborating closely with senior management, this position offers an unparalleled opportunity to drive performance, foster innovation, and lead transformative change.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

• Partner closely with the President and senior management to drive business management and development initiatives.
• Exemplify and cultivate a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Assume leadership of the finance function, overseeing corporate governance, planning, and control.
• Serve as Corporate Officer, Treasurer, and 401K Trustee, embodying fiduciary responsibility and financial stewardship.
• Act as a trusted advisor and educator, guiding financial decision-making and fostering financial literacy across the organization.

Performance Insights:

• Spearhead critical financial activities including billing, AR, AP, inventory, and cash flow management.
• Drive value creation by challenging and supporting commercial and operational teams to optimize profitability, efficiency, and asset performance.
• Identify and capitalize on opportunities to enhance operational and financial efficiency, driving decision-making at all levels.
• Lead efforts to streamline finance functions, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.

Planning and Control:

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes, ensuring rigorous financial control and alignment with performance objectives.
• Exercise prudent oversight of capital expenditure and working capital, safeguarding the organization's cash position and long-term financial health.

Qualifications/Competencies:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in senior finance roles within manufacturing.
• Proficiency in IFRS, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office suite.
• Demonstrated analytical acumen and strategic planning expertise.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and inclusive leadership style.
• High ethical standards and ability to handle sensitive information with integrity.
• Willingness to occasionally travel as needed to location in IL.
