- Overseeing all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems of IFRS accounting of ToCo (Site Lease accounting - Africa) ensuring compliance with appropriate IFRS standards and regulatory requirements
- Responsible for end to end closure of Month/Qtr end closing / reporting.
- Variance analysis, review of P&L account and Balance sheet on monthly and quarterly basis for Site lease accounting as per IFRS-16.
- Should have Insightful knowledge of financial process analysis, financial process re-engineering, process optimization and cost control.
- Responsible for implementation of various automation tools in systems, resulting that team is able to effectively process information with minimum manual interventions thus significantly reducing cycle time & cost.
- Should be proficient in streamlining existing operations, mapping business requirements with proven ability in designing & implementing new procedures to achieve cost control & financial discipline and enhance the overall efficiency of the organization.
- Skilled in managing the operational activities for ensuring completion of Internal, External & Statutory Audits. Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously, to prioritize and meet deadlines; an enterprising leader with abilities in mentoring & motivating team in optimizing their contribution levels.
- Leveraging strengths of the finance team members; providing clarity on the roles and responsibilities; developing and implementing training programs to maximize and help them reach optimal individual and organizational goals;
- Coordinating all audit activity and closure of open audit points;
- Must be very fluent in English communication and will be must play an effective while engaging with African counterpart on a daily basis for all African OPCO's.
- He will be involved in the Engagement call with all Francophone OPCO's and will be play a role of a problem resolver
- Provision for Expenses - Actualization - Network, S&D Others, HR & Admin, CSD, Marketing, AMC & Bandwidth.
- Having Knowledge of Oracle, Excel etc.
A minimum qualification of CA with a 6-8 years' work experience;
- Solid experience coordinating audit activities and managing reporting, accounts payable, general ledger and internal controls;
- A track record in audit management; experience in compliance and reporting, IFRS knowledge is essential;
- Technology savvy with experience in with software vendors/IT team; advanced knowledge of accounting and reporting software;
- Keen analytic, problem solving skills which allows for strategic data interpretation versus simple reporting;
- Able to manage team in high pressure situation; ability to deliver in defined timeline.
- Good knowledge of IFRS/IGAAP and should be self-starter having advance PC skills
