Controller with banking experience needed for fully remote position! You must live in Florida!
We're a growing bank with over 600 million in assets and we're adding a Controller at the SVP level. This is a full time position where you'll oversee a department of up to 5 people.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
2. Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
3. Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and oversee the preparation of all financial reporting.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business. CPA, CMA, or other related certification is a plus.
2. Proven experience as a Controller, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior-level finance or accounting position.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.
4. Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
5. Proven banking experience a must
