We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks, preparing financial statements, performing account reconciliations, and maintaining the general ledger. This role will also involve overseeing accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and inventory.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and inventory.
2. Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
3. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for management to review.
4. Analyze financial data and provide financial support to the management team, making recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability.
5. Coordinate and execute the financial audit process, working with external auditors and providing necessary information for the annual audit.
6. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and professional standards.
7. Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights and financial advice.
8. Develop and implement effective accounting policies and processes.
9. Maintain an accurate record of the company's inventory and fixed assets.
10. Participate in strategic planning, fraud prevention, and budget management.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is preferred.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably in the Manufacturing industry.
4. Proficiency in account reconciliation, financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, inventory, and financial accounting.
5. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
6. Strong analytical skills to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
7. Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
8. High attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
9. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
10. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, showing initiative and drive to achieve departmental and company goals.
