We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Permanent Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This position is integral to our organization, providing financial leadership and strategy to our dynamic and growing company in the mortgage industry. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, tax, treasury, and investor relations. This role will play a pivotal role in the continued growth and success of our company, shaping our financial strategy and ensuring its alignment with our overall business objectives.

Responsibilities:

As the CFO, you will be tasked with the following responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement the company's financial strategy, aligning it with the overall business strategy.
2. Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, tax, treasury, and investor relations.
3. Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the company.
4. Ensure the maintenance of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures.
5. Coordinate, prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
6. Manage relationships with partners and investors.
7. Provide leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
8. Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory action.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field. An MBA or CPA is preferred.
2. A minimum of 7 years experience in a CFO or equivalent role, with proven leadership in the financial industry.
3. Experience in the mortgage industry is highly desirable.
4. Demonstrated experience in financial planning and analysis with previous experience overseeing human resources, information technology, and legal.
5. Skilled in organizational development, personnel management, budget and resource development, and strategic planning.
6. Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team.
7. Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to the mission of the company.
8. Flexible and able to multitask; can work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions.
9. Experience in or knowledge of nonprofit accounting, including sophisticated fund and grant accounting, compliance, and reporting.
10. A minimum of 5 years experience in electrical contracting leadership, demonstrating a deep understanding of the complexities and challenges of this specific field.
