We are actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Controller to join our fast-paced finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the financial operations, including inventory, reporting, cost, and accounting. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of our company, providing financial analysis and insights to support decision making. The Permanent Controller will report directly to the CFO and will be instrumental in developing and implementing financial management strategies.

  • Oversee all financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage and monitor all aspects of the company's financial health, including the preparation of current financial reports as well as summaries and forecasts for future business growth and general economic outlook.
  • Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organization.
  • Oversee the coordination and activities of independent auditors ensuring all audit issues are resolved, and all compliance issues are met, and the preparation of the annual financial statements is in accordance with U.S. GAAP and federal, state and other required supplementary schedules and information.
  • Responsible for effective revenue management, cost efficiency, and inventory control.
  • Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization.
  • Evaluate and advise on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new programs/ strategies and regulatory action.
  • Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
  • Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting to the Company.
  • Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required; MBA or CPA highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position.
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
  • Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
  • Experience in a service industry with contract-based billing is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
  • Ability to execute and follow-through to completion and documentation.
