Responsibilities:

As an Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our company. Your duties will include:

1. Overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
2. Managing all aspects of payroll, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.
3. Preparing budgets, financial forecasts, and various financial reports.
4. Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
5. Developing and implementing effective financial strategies, policies, and procedures.
6. Collaborating with other departments to improve financial performance and understanding.
7. Monitoring all financial data and preparing accurate reports for senior management.
8. Ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
9. Evaluating and managing risk, performing profitability analyses, and coordinating the company's financial planning and budget management functions.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial accounting role, preferably in the construction industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and legislation.
4. Proficiency in accounting software and payroll systems.
5. Exceptional numerical proficiency with a strong attention to detail.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to manage large amounts of data and compile detailed reports.
10. Proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks.
