Job Details:

We are searching for a dynamic and experienced Controller to join our team in the Medical industry. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong understanding of business operations and experience in managing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. If you are a detail-oriented individual with a strategic mindset and a passion for finance, we would love to meet you.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax, and audit functions.
2. Direct financial strategy, planning, and forecasts; conferring with CEO, COO, and the leadership team.
3. Study, analyze and report on trends, opportunities for expansion, and projection of future company growth.
4. Implement and monitor the month, quarter, and year-end close process and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
5. Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with the company's procedures.
6. Communicate financial metrics to senior management and provide advice on short and long-term financial objectives, policies, and actions.
7. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing financial reports, and advising management on needed actions.
8. Prepare and present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings.
9. Manage and monitor debt compliance and maintain banking relationships.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
2. Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in FP&A, Accounting, Financial Reporting, Forecasting, Management, and debt compliance.
3. At least 5 years of financial accounting/general ledger experience.
4. Minimum of 5 years of healthcare management experience.
5. Thorough knowledge of GAAP and month-end closing procedures.
6. Proven experience in financial project management.
7. Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and financial reporting software.
8. Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
9. Excellent interpersonal and team management skills.
10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
12. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
13. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
