Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Permanent Staff Accountant to join our team. This is an incredible opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, growing organization. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial data and ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded. You will be working closely with our accounting team to create financial reports, process accounts payable and receivable, prepare invoices, and assist with budgeting. This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of financial regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of GL accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliation, and month-end close processes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable and receivable records, including invoicing.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
• Develop regular financial statements and conduct budget-to-actual analysis.
• Assist with budgeting processes and prepare financial forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with all internal processes and financial regulations.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to improve financial procedures and maintain updated accounting policies.
• Assist with special projects as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in GL accounting, AP/AR, invoicing, month-end close, financial reporting, account reconciliation, general ledger, and budgeting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting and their application.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially in Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in entering financial data.
• Strong analytical skills and experience in financial forecasting and budgeting.
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
