This position is an integral part of our leadership team and is responsible for managing all aspects of our accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial records, treasury management, lease accounting, and risk management. Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all general ledger activities and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
  • Direct the preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, reports to shareholders, tax returns, and reports for government regulatory agencies.
  • Lead and manage the treasury function, ensuring efficient cash management, accurate forecasting, and effective risk management.
  • Ensure compliance with ASC 842 for all lease accounting activities and provide guidance and support to the accounting team in this regard.
  • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to protect the company's financial well-being.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and management to the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to define financial strategy and policy, serving as a key advisor on financial and operational matters impacting the company's performance and growth.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably within the engineering industry.
  • Proven experience in managing financial records, treasury, lease accounting (ASC 842), and risk management.
  • Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • High proficiency in accounting software and related technologies.
  • Demonstrated integrity, ethical standards, and understanding of confidentiality.
