We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a unique opportunity to contribute to our growing organization. The successful candidate will play a key role in our finance department, with a focus on cost accounting, inventory, and manufacturing. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in accounting, who is seeking a challenging and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for a range of financial tasks that help our company make sound business decisions. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Overseeing daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations.
2. Participating in tax audits and payroll preparation.
3. Preparing budgeting reports and conducting cost and revenue analyses.
4. Developing periodical financial reports, such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, etc. presenting a true and fair view of the financial position of the company.
5. Collaborating with financial management on the development and execution of the company's financial plans.
6. Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
7. Overseeing inventory management, ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting.
8. Assisting with the financial planning and budgeting processes.
9. Liaising with external auditors and managing internal controls.
10. Participating in special projects and implementing financial systems and processes.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of education, experience, and skills, including:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is a plus.
2. A minimum of three years of proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role within the finance industry.
3. Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory, and manufacturing.
4. Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with relevant accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks).
5. Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
6. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Strong analytical skills and experience creating reports and presentations.
8. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
9. Ability to work independently, manage large, complex projects, and balance multiple tasks.
10. A commitment to personal growth and development by staying updated with new accounting laws and regulations.
