A bit about us:

We are seeking a dynamic Controller to oversee and manage the financial operations of the company. This pivotal role demands a deep understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong analytical prowess, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in efficient financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
  • Lead financial operations, including accounting, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and reporting.
  • Develop and enforce financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy, integrity, and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor and optimize financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.

Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare precise and timely financial statements adhering to U.S. GAAP and other relevant standards.
  • Generate comprehensive financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee the annual audit process in collaboration with external auditors.

Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Contribute to the annual budgeting process and collaborate with department heads for accurate planning.
  • Assist in creating financial forecasts and support strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze actual financial performance against budgets, providing insights into variances.

Treasury and Cash Management:
  • Manage cash flow to ensure operational liquidity and facilitate future growth.
  • Oversee banking relationships, investment strategies, and cash resource optimization.
  • Monitor credit facilities and debt obligations.

Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax laws.
  • Coordinate with external tax accountants for timely filings and payments.
  • Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks through regular analysis.

Mergers & Acquisitions:
  • Participate in due diligence and post-closing integration activities.
  • Coordinate with external advisors for QoE reviews and financial consolidation.

Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.
  • Provide guidance on complex accounting matters and technical challenges.

Systems and Process Improvement:
  • Evaluate financial systems and processes for automation and efficiency enhancements.
  • Implement new tools to streamline operations and improve reporting capabilities.

Job Details

  • Proven experience as a Controller in a U.S. based company with multinational operations.
  • Valid U.S. CPA license required.
  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics accounting software.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • High integrity, ethics, and attention to detail.
