As a Permanent Controller, you will be a crucial part of our financial team, providing strategic leadership and oversight to all financial operations. Job Details

Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
2. Develop and implement financial strategies, financial planning, budgeting, and profitability analyses.
3. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by researching existing and new legislation, consulting with outside advisors, and filing financial reports.
4. Coordinate the preparation of the company's budget and financial forecasts, reporting variances back to top management.
5. Develop and monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.
6. Supervise investment and cash management strategies.
7. Collaborate with leadership team to support overall department goals and objectives.
8. Advise management on short-term and long-term financial objectives, policies, and actions.
9. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance role with a focus on financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling.
2. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA certification is preferred.
3. Proven experience as a Controller or similar role in the finance industry.
4. Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
5. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
6. An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
7. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
8. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
9. In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
10. Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
11. Strong ethics, with a customer-oriented approach.
12. Ability to strategize and solve problems.
13. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
14. Excellent communication and people skills.
15. An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
16. CPA is a strong advantage.
